Mr. Craig Benson has been involved in the Audio
Visual industry full and part time for the past 20 years. Craig
has personally worked as an audio visual technician for a number
of years and has extensive experience in audio, lighting, simultaneous
interpretation, staging, trade shows, event planning and coordination,
IT, video and teleconferencing. Combined with over 18 years management
experience in the hospitality industry and 5 years of audio visual
retail experience Craig will ensure that the right equipment and
personnel are in place for your event.

Mr. Shawn Basha is one of Atlantic Canada’s
pre-eminent audio visual professionals. Shawn has been working professionally
in the field since 1992 and has extensive experience in audio, media
relations, video, simultaneous interpretation, trade shops, radio,
lighting and all aspects of corporate audio visual including design,
promotions and operation. Shawn’s combination of technical
experience, knowledge and attitude makes him a favorite resource
for conference planners. During the past 12 years Shawn has done
work for many of North America’s professional recording acts,
Arts and Culture Centers, Neia, Apegn, Noia, The Salvation Army,
Premier Danny Williams, The Liberal Party, Nape, Aim Trimark, Tel-Av
and Many others.

Mr. Charlie Fowler has been involved in the audio/visual
field for the past 22 years. Charlie has been one of the more prominent
engineers for audio production at most of the high profile event
that have happened in Newfoundland in the past years. During the
past 22 years Charlie has been an engineer for Pope John Paul, Queen
Elizabeth, Princess Diana, Prince Charles, Microsoft, Tom Cochran,
Blue Rodeo, Premier Danny Williams, Wheels and Deals, ECMA’s
and many others. As well as Charlie’s audio experience he
has been involved and proficient in staging, video, conference facilities,
trade show and lighting.

David graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Arts and also graduated from the Career Academy with a diploma in Business Administration. David brings with him over 2 years in Sales experience and 15 years knowledge of Audio Visual equipment. He has covered such events as the 2005 Special Olympics Sports Celebrities Festival and NIFCO’s 2005 national conference.

Ken has more than 10 years experience in the Audio Visual trade. Ken is a specialist in lighting and mobile staging. He has worked prestigious events, such as, the ECMA awards show, the MIA awards show, and Much Music’s Snowjob. Ken also brings a great deal of logistics knowledge to Atlantic Audio Visual with his comprehension in data processing through the Career Academy and previous work experiences.

Barry has practiced audio and visual technology for more than 15 years throughout the country. Barry brings along with him, a wealth of knowledge in this field. He has covered high profile events, such as the APEC World Trade meetings in Vancouver, NOIA events, and several different events for the Prime Minister of Canada. Also, he has vast knowledge and experience in the computer and video fields through formal training at CompuCollege and work experience with AVW TelAV.

Robert graduated from CONA with a diploma in Recording Arts. He has worked with such artists as, Sum 41 and Third Eye Blind. Robert is well versed in the demands of corporate events and concerts due to his 8 years experience in the field and formal training.

Jason also graduated from CONA with a diploma in Recording Arts, and brings with him over 10 years experience in the Audio Visual field. As well, Jason brings with him a wealth of knowledge in all forms of Audio Visual equipment through his formal work experience as a rental sales manager with a national company.

John is our in-house technician for the Delta, St. John’s. John has 14 years experience in the Audio Visual trade, provided media coverage for the Junos, and has worked on the biannual conventions of the NLNU and the NLTA.
