Atlantic Audio Visual was established in 1999, in its early years
the company focused on the provision of professional sound reinforcement
for bands and festivals. This component of the business grew rapidly
and today Atlantic Audio Visual is the leader in this segment of
the market. In 2003 we were the production company of choice for
all large concerts in the province, including; The Salmon Festival,
Klondyke Days and the Molson Canadian House Party.
In 2001 Stephen Sparkes became a minority shareholder in the company,
after close analysis it became obvious that future growth would
come from the corporate audiovisual market. In the summer of 2002
we acquired a large inventory of audiovisual equipment that has
allowed us to pursue this market. Since acquiring this equipment
we have done such prestigious events as the Rotary Wheels and Deals
2003 and 2004, the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame and
the 2003 election tours for both the Liberal Party and The PC Party.
During 2004 Atlantic Audio Visual has provided audio visual conference
services to HNL, The Salavation Army, Remax Canada, NATI, Music
Industries Association of Newfoundland and Labrador and many others.
Recognizing the future potential of the company Stephen Sparkes
acquired majority control of the company. Today Atlantic Audio Visual
is a full service production company. It has an inventory valued
in excess of $1,200k and a highly trained professional staff with
over 55 years experience. As well we have formed strategic partnerships
with Global Convention Services [Atlantic Canada’s largest
supplier of trade show equipment], Tour Tech [One of Canada’s
largest sound reinforcement and lighting companies] and AVW-Telav
[The largest AV Company in Canada]. Our partnerships with these
companies allow us to bid on any event that happens in Newfoundland
and Labrador.
During 2004 Atlantic Audio Visual had excellent growth in the audio
visual segment of the market and our company now falls under the
umbrella of Clayton Inns owned and operated in Newfoundland by the
Sparkes family. Mr Scott Giannou has now assumed a management role
in the operations of Atlantic Audio Visual and with the excellent
reputation of Sparkes family in the hospitality industry Atlantic
Audio Visual will continue to exceed our customer’s expectations
in the years to come.
Success in our past has come from taking the time to fully understand
the needs of our customers. Once we have a full understanding of
those needs we deliver by providing state of the art equipment,
highly trained professional support personnel at a price that is
fair. Our commitment to our customer is what will ensure our future
success.
